Natural Ways To Enjoy At Liloan Cebu

One of the amazing things about Cebu is that although it is too small (it’s even smaller than a dot on the world map,) it is packed with so much good stuff. Everything that you can think of is right here. And just when you thought that you’ve seen it all, you find out that you haven’t actually seen anything yet.

Just last Saturday, I got the chance to visit one of the most awesome places in Cebu right now. I went there expecting very little. Well, I’ve been to Liloan a gazillion times and I’m sure that I’ve seen almost all interesting parts of it. But I guess I have the right to change my mind, right? Hehehe. Well, I was just a little surprised! Okay, I was shocked! I didn’t expect that Liloan could pull out something as surprising as this! Well, enough of this nonsense! On with the photos! Haha!

Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon. One word: FANTABULOUS!

Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon is a wonderful adventure park is Silot Bay, Liloan, Cebu. If you’re driving up north via the North National Highway, you turn right once you reach the Liloan Church. Keep driving for a few meters until you see a sign. You can’t miss it. If by chance you can already see the Catarman bridge, then, you’ve missed it. Hahahaha. If you’re driving via the Cansaga Bay bridge, just keep driving towards the direction of the Liloan Church. Immediately after crossing the Catarman Bridge, pay close attention to the signs on the roadside. If you can see the main highway and the church, then you’ve missed it. Hahahaha.

Ticket per head: 100 pesos. The rate is consumable, though. Which is awesome! That means you can check out their restaurant and eat everthing that totals to a hundred bucks. If you are too hungry, you can order more stuff and pay for them. They have three restaurants inside the huge huge compound. So, you can choose.

We picked this one because it is closest to the main gate and because we didn’t know where the other restaurants were. Hahaha. This restaurant, by the way, is right smack in the middle of a huge pond. Awesome!

They serve yummy food. Here’s a nice-looking guso, for example.

This set with fried bangus with achara, rice, and a bottle of soda costs 100 pesos. So, you pay 100 pesos to get into this nice compound and you get a full meal as well. Not bad, right?

Grilled chicken with rice, soda, and achara for 100 pesos.

View of the ‘fishing huts’ from the restaurant.

Walkway to smaller fishing huts. Doesn’t this look exciting and adventurous?

Wow!

A huge huge pond!

A small pond filled with small fish. Cool!

Doesn’t this look gorgeous?

Yes. That’s a huge bird right there. Just imagine I was using a high-powered lens and you can see the details of the bird. Hahaha.

Another huge pond in the compound. I think I saw more than 6 ponds in the area. Amazing.

Looking really nice.

View from one of the fishing huts. Lovely.

More fishing huts. Wow! Lovely view.

Next, we decided to check out their zipline facility. Here are some girls waiting for their turn.

The launch tower. Pretty tall. Hehe.

Excited korean zipliners. Hehe.

More zipliners!

If I am not mistaken, it is currently the longest zipline in Cebu. 800 meters, baby!

That right there could be Cebu’s answer to Camarines Sur’s watersports facility.

If you want to have an awesome time, check out Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon now
